The philosophy of Meditation des Tanzes is based on the Méditation en Croix, the three positions of classical ballet, the student, (1st position) the companion (2nd position) and the master (3rd position) and on the wind rose (the connection of the static and the dynamic cross).
It invites to go together a path from personal awareness development and sophisticated attention.
These 3 levels mentioned, can also be found among the freemasons and the pythagoreans.

The first position is that of the student who wants to go a path; a path of believing to acknowledge (see inside).

The student has made a choice, he wants to develop.
With respect, he goes in "the courtyard of the temple". Consciously, with full attention he takes part and stands in the circle. Together with all the other dancers he opens himself and connects with his deepest being. Full of good courage and vitality, he begins his journey, which is symbolized by the vertical line and the static cross, the time axis.

Where do I come from where am I going to?
It is a self-directed position.

In the first position, the heels are folded together and the feet are opened to a (approximately) right angle. This is a starting position.
Here I let the perpendicular line down, that is, I raise to the light and want to open myself.
Thus the artist opens on the one hand to gain insight, on the other hand, to reveal himself.
The human body has many "visages", which can be opened or closed.
The "en dehors" characterizing this first position opens the body from the inside, leaving the light and the fire to "rays" outwardly.

The second position is that of the companion, whereby the student makes a step to the group he consciously connects with; he / she "stands" no more but "arise".
Here he is learning while dancing to tune to the rhythm and the melody to his dance partners. The student becomes aware of the other dancers in the circle, making it a "we".
It is more about "social awareness" that is symbolically expressed by opening and reaching hands. This connects everyone with everyone and the circle is closed.
Here you are in the "holy", the next place in the temple.
This symbolizes the space axis, the connection between you and me.

The third position is that of the Master, where one can connect with the "holy" and / or the "cosmos"; the whole.
Here one feels a more refined consciousness and a form of attention that goes far deeper.
The master stands at the crossroads of the static and dynamic cross. Here he is in the middle of the circle, the center, the origin of everything and more.
It's the core, everything and nothing, entire. The here and now. Here is no beginning and no end. Here is quietness in motion, evolution.
It's the place beyond differences, it's "end "AND "new start".

Here is the total surrender and unconditional love. There is only the "MOMENT", infinite, unmentionable.
It is the place to make contact with the transcendents, the Transcendent. Here one feels: this is me and this is more than myself. It is an experience of unity, of universality.
Here we are in the "Holy of Holiness", the place of the initiated.
It is the place where the altar is in the temple.

Everything is nothing and nothing is anything

these three positions in the dance are inseparable.
